SAFE DRUGS NEW USES
Working with leading academics
Every day, academics around the world are working to find solutions to medical issues. But while most research and development focuses on new drugs, some look at alternative ways to use existing drugs. These drugs have already been approved for other indications, have a known safety profile, and therefore have a much higher chance of becoming effective treatments.
Based in Cambridge, UK, we have developed unique partnerships with renowned universities around the world. Our partnerships help ensure academic research can be developed clinically, to give patients greater choice and improved efficacy of their treatments.
Working with physicians
Serendipity is the source of many new treatments. Doctors can discover that the drugs they’re using not only address the approved indication, but are also having a positive effect on other medical issues in ways that weren’t previously recognised.
Such discoveries can open up new avenues for treatments, and new options for patients. We work with physicians to transform these discoveries into new approved treatments, available to the people who need them.
